Well, it has been a busy week! I have had a wonderful time catching up with some very talented colleagues and making some plans for 2013!

This week I have confirmation of working on the First 20 Minutes project with the Writer's Avenue. I am working on a play called Rec Room, written by Chizzy Akudolu.  As the title of the festival suggests, the first  20 minutes of the full length play will be performed on the 29th of April. I will let you know how to get tickets shortly. I am looking forward to working with these guys. It's great to be working on new writing.

The new works is underway and Sarah Langrish-Smith is hard at work writing a pilot episode.

There are a few other things in the mixing pot but it's a little top secret. Have a wonderful weekend!

Getting the giggle on!

It has been a wonderful couple of weeks absorbing a lot of comedy. Nikki from Wilkinson/Ford performed in the final of The NATYS: New Act of The Year 2013 held at Bloomsbury Theatre. It was such an amazing line up of talented and funny stand ups.

Nikki was very funny and it will be great to see her stand up career grow. There were some other names that I thought I would share. Four Screws Loose performed a snappy 5 minute version of the Titanic through edited pop songs.

Lindsay Sharman's poetry was a massive hoot. Brilliant. Check her out!

Darren Walsh. Tall and very funny! It is so great to see such a strong bunch. I laughed and laughed! Get along to you nearest comedy venue and support your favourites!

New Projects for 2013

I can't believe that January has already gone by! Time flies.

January was a month of new projects (the title gives it away a bit!).

I have started working with Kibo Productions who are gearing up for a massive year of new writing and some exciting community projects. I have been very busy planning the proposal for a project with them and look forward to working with a great group of talented artists.

Someone somewhere once said how important it is to try new things, so working with a little project with the very funny Sarah Langrish-Smith. If all goes to plan, you should be able to see the fruits of our labour around July!

That's it from me for the time being! Have a great day! :)
